All-Natural Pastured Pork

You'll notice there's always green around our pigs. Pasture is great for pigs. Our First batch of pigs in 2006. Great looking animals, content, doing what pigs like to do. When you raise them like we do, pigs are fun, they really don't smell.

2009 was our best year yet for our pork. Our processor -- who sees a whole lot of pigs -- wanted to buy the whole lot. We got it 100% right this year!

We keep hearing -- as is our opinion -- "I thought I didn't like pork. I just didn't like bad pork! (mass produced pork)". We are and always will be a diversified farm. Pigs are valuable "team" members here, they have an important job to do. When you take the time to see our pigs in the field, being pigs, you'll know -- and then you'll vote.

JANUARY 2010: Halves/wholes: SOLD OUT. By the cut: Still available, although bacon will be gone shortly. Stock up now - it's going to be until August or so until we have more!

About our Pastured Pork

  • The pigs are certified organic, and will be up until processing. Our processor is not certified organic, but there is very little different in the processing. The major difference is in hams & bacon, sorry, we do not have nitrate free at this time.
  • We fed all organic corn, wheat from our own operation, and roasted soybeans from a local organic farm.
  • Pastured!. Happy, low stress animals mean for the best tasting food -- that you can feel good about.
  • No antibiotics/growth hormones/any kind of funny business.
  • Our farming practices are zero-impact on the world around us. We create no pollution, in the form of chemical runoff, smells, nothing. We are responsible and respectful neighbors always.
  • Come see how we raise our animals, see how we farm. The more you know about how and why we do what we do, the better you're going to feel about buying and eating food from our farm. A simple google will show you how the usual pork is raised, and it is not pretty. Quite a price for cheap food! Nothing is hidden here ever, because we're proud of our no-compromise philosophy.
  • Do you deserve good food? EVERY DOLLAR YOU SPEND IS A VOTE.

We provide our pigs shelter, but mostly they are outside as they're meant to be. We're happy to have you see what environment our pigs were raised in, and the animals themselves. Always. Pigs LOVE grass and clover. When we first move them, they ignore the corn feed and eat the grass! Pigs are highly intelligent, curious and playful. We do our best to give them a healthy pig-friendly environment.
